Tracy Thomas signs with Lawson Artist Management

December 13, 2006 (Los Angeles, CA) Actress and recording artst Tracy Thomas has signed with Lawson Artist Management for personal management. Tracy most recently starred alongside Dan Aykroyd, Dave Foley and Dave Thomas in the feature film “Intern Academy.”

Canadian Tracy Thomas has trained professionally since the age of two, taking ballet, piano, voice and drama lessons throughout her childhood.   By the age of 16, Tracy had become a very prominent young actress in Canada and was recognized for her outstanding performances in the roles of Maria in “West Side Story,” Anne in “Anne of Green Gables,” Mary in “The Secret Garden,” Titania in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” Katherine in “Love’s Labors Lost,” Horatio in “Hamlet” and Patty in “You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown.”  Tracy has also appeared on Canadian Television’s hit sitcom “Corner Gas.”

Tracy graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Alberta, one of the top acting schools in Canada and one of the best BFA Acting programs in North America.  She went on to work at the two biggest repertory theatres in North America, The Stratford Festival and The Shaw Festival. Tracy also performed as the lead singer and electric guitarist for the Canadian rock band Crimson Chaos, which recorded several albums.
