Annie Wood's "Heart of Fear" at 2007 L.A. Screenings May 16-19

May 7, 2007 (Los Angeles, CA) The independent feature film "Heart of Fear," starring Annie Wood, will be screening at the 2007 L.A. Screenings held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel May 16-19, 2007.

"Heart of Fear" is a thriller full of suspense and surprises evolving from the heartwarming story of a young, ambitious woman and a little boy in search of protection and love. It is the story of FBI Agent Samantha Hunt (played by Annie Wood, pictured left) and 9-year-old Taylor Greene, who witnessed the cruel murder of his mother by a notorious serial killer. As Taylor is the only witness in the case against the serial killer, it is crucial for Samantha to gain the boy¹s trust in order to get him to remember what he saw the night of the murder. Samantha is able to relate to Taylor¹s pain and develop a wonderful mother-son relationship with him because she also lost her parents through unnatural causes. However, she is not the only person trying to get through to Taylor. A career-driven and sharp Police Detective and a manipulating News Reporter make it hard for Samantha to find her way into the boy¹s imprisoned mind, and consequently, to find a lead to the serial killer. It is a race against time when letters from the killer indicate that Taylor is in imminent danger. Tender affection, a blossoming romance, and constant danger come together for a shocking final twist that will leave you breathless!
