Elle Newlands compilation album eligible for 2008 Grammy nomination

August 14, 2007 (Los Angeles, CA) Tiny Oaks Entertainment's "Sing Along With Me" children's educational album, on which Elle Newlands sings five songs, has been submitted to The Recording Academy in consideration of eligibility for a 2008 Grammy nomination for "Best Children's Album." Elle Newlands voices and sings the lead animated character, Amanda Acorn.

The album's lyricist and composer Richard M. Sherman (legendary Disney composer who, with his brother Robert, penned the classic ‘It’s a Small World’ amongst other hits) currently has two Grammys, two Academy Awards and nine Academy Award nominations.
