Joseph Troski rocks the Viper Room in Los Angeles

September 2, 2007 (Los Angeles, CA) Singer/songwriter Joseph Troski rocked the legendary Viper Room on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles tonight. The magical, emotional evening featured several songs from his forthcoming EP. Three of Joseph Troski's fan favorite songs were released recently on iTunes and are now available for downloading.

South African-born singer/songwriter Joseph Troski has been writing and performing music since the age of five.  Born in the suburbs of Johannesburg, Joseph moved to Brooklyn, NY, when he was eight.  Joseph taught himself how to sing and play the piano.  Joseph attended Manhattan’s La Guardia High School of Music & Art (the school from the television series “Fame”).  By age 18, he was performing original songs in clubs and restaurants throughout New York City’s East Village and Brooklyn.  At 19, Joseph was offered a seat to study in the Purchase College Conservatory of Music, a recording contract from an independent label and a publishing deal.  A prolific songwriter, Joseph Troski also produces music for film, theater and other artists.  In 2001, two of Joseph’s original compositions received honorable mention from the John Lennon International Songwriting Competition.
