Joseph Troski to score stage production of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland"

April 10, 2008 (Kent, OH) Singer/songwriter Joseph Troski has been confirmed to score the stage production of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" in Kent, Ohio in July. The stage production will feature original music by Joseph Troski. Joseph will also act as musical director and perform in the play by Director Matthew Earnest.

South African-born singer/songwriter Joseph Troski has been writing and performing music since the age of five.  Born in the suburbs of Johannesburg, Joseph moved to Brooklyn, NY, when he was eight.  Joseph taught himself how to sing and play the piano.  Joseph attended Manhattan’s La Guardia High School of Music & Art (the school from the television series “Fame”).  By age 18, he was performing original songs in clubs and restaurants throughout New York City’s East Village and Brooklyn.  At 19, Joseph was offered a seat to study in the Purchase College Conservatory of Music, a recording contract from an independent label and a publishing deal.  A prolific songwriter, Joseph Troski also produces music for film, theater and other artists.  In 2001, two of Joseph’s original compositions received honorable mention from the John Lennon International Songwriting Competition.
