Richard Jenik signs with Lawson Artist Management

April 14, 2008 (Los Angeles, CA) Television/film actor Richard Jenik has signed with Lawson Artist Management.

Actor Richard Jenik has recently appeared on several television series, including "Grey’s Anatomy," "Desperate Housewives," "West Wing" and "7th Heaven." Richard has also appeared in several films, including "The Game of Their Lives," "Our Very Own," “Hidden Agenda” and "Deadwater."

The multi-talented actor joins Lawson Artist Management with a wealth of experience. He has appeared on numerous hit television series, including a recurring role on ABC’s "Desperate Housewives," and such guest star roles as "Grey’s Anatomy," "West Wing” and “Without A Trace.”

Richard starred as a series regular opposite Cary Elwes in  NBC’s pilot “Haskett’s Chance” directed by Tim Blake Nelson.

He has also appeared in several films, starring in the thriller “Deadwater,” featured in theaters this May and directed by up and comer Roel Reine.  He co-starred along side Gerard Butler in “The Game of Their Lives," lead by the team who produced both "Rudy" and "Hoosiers" and also starred in the Indie hit "Our Very Own," which is presently airing on STARZ network.

Richard's acting career began on stage performing in community theaters. It was from there he landed a supporting roles on the popular daytime soap, "Port Charles" and the hit ABC sitcom “Home Improvement.” Later, he booked recurring roles on hit shows "The District” and “7th Heaven.”  He just completed a run of Neil Simon’s play “California Suite” where he played the part William Warren in honor of his mentor George Grizzard.

Richard holds a bachelors of science degree in medicine from Old Dominion University, where he was also an All-American soccer player.
