Darren Darnborough's film "Nobody The Great" available on iTunes

June 22, 2009 (London, England) Los Angeles-based Actor/Producer Darren Darnborough's film which he starred as "Felix the Terrorist", "Nobody The Great," is now available on iTunes. "Nobody The Great" won the Cinequest Film Festival 2007 Viewer's Voice audience award (Best Feature Film) and was written and directed by Kara Miller, winner of a Breakthrough Brits 2008 award award (the UK Film Council’s high end talent initiative that celebrates a new wave of British filmmaking talent who are on the cusp of mainstream success), Hitchcock Award, the Screen Nation ‘Best Emerging Talent’ award and shortlisted for the BBC’s New Filmmaker Award.

"Nobody The Great" is a movie about ordinary people in an extraordinary situation. Despite the fact it was inspired by such dark subject matter as the Stanford Prison Experiment, the Milgram Experiment and the treatment of prisoners at the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq , it’s very definitely an irreverent, allegorical tale, a comedy with a heritage that goes back to Life of Brian, La Cage aux Folles, Dr Strangelove and beyond...When terrorists trick their way into Jack and Basil's flat, on the evening of their hot date with two gorgeous sisters, the boys decide to take matters into their own hands.

Actor Darren Darnborough, born and raised in England, has appeared on several British television series, including "EastEnders," "Holby City," "The Bill," and "Pie in the Sky." Darren has also appeared in several in films, including "Gracie," "The Car," "Lost in Cannes" and "Nobody The Great," which premiered in both Los Angeles and London, won the Viewers Voice Award for Best Film at Cinequest 2007 and earned director Kara Miller an award as one of the UK Film Council's "Breakthrough Brits" of last year in Los Angeles, and has won several major awards.   Darnborough's acting career began on stage, taking lead roles in numerous new musicals at prestigious London venues, including Riverside Studios and Westminster Theatre.
